• With the replacement of Sun Up Express Chair Lift all major lifts at Vail are now high-speed.
• Northern Rockies should see an equal chance of an average winter this year with periods of intermittent cold and stormy weather. That said, look for resort skiing to provide good coverage all winter long with powder days in between bluebird days.
