Those who plan a vacation in Vail or Beaver Creek this winter are probably already very excited about their upcoming trip. But, just in case you needed a little help to get you ready for what will hopefully be an epic winter, here are some news to get you excited for 2016-2017 ski season.
- As of today Vail Mountain has already opened its legendary Back Bowls expanding skiable terrain to 1,439 acres (for latest terrain updates please visit www.vail.com)
- With the replacement of Sun Up Express Chair Lift all major lifts at Vail are now high-speed.
- Northern Rockies should see an equal chance of an average winter this year with periods of intermittent cold and stormy weather. That said, look for resort skiing to provide good coverage all winter long with powder days in between bluebird days.
